Should you make a photo?

Do not prepare your own photo unless the agency or your transaction instructions specifically ask for one.

Where the photo is taken

You must appear in person at your local driver exam office, where your photo is taken when you apply for a learner's permit. You also take the written exam and vision screening at that visit.

Online steps and photo upload

WYDOT says you can start the process on oneWYO, but you still have to go in person to be photographed. WYDOT does not say it accepts an uploaded photo.
