Where the photo is taken

Georgia instructional permits (Class CP) carry a photo. DDS takes it when you visit a Customer Service Center to apply and pass the vision and knowledge exams.

Online steps and photo upload

You can fill out the permit application online beforehand, but you still visit a DDS Customer Service Center for exams and the photo. No option to upload your own photo was found.

Photo law and rules

Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. 375-3-1-.15 requires each driver's license, permit, or identification card issued by DDS to contain a photograph.
