Where the photo is taken

First-time Florida ID cards and photo updates require a visit to a Florida driver license service center.

Eligible holders can renew or replace an ID card online at MyDMV Portal, but must go to an office if they used the online convenience service at their last renewal or want to update their photo. No photo upload is offered.
